Step 2
MahaRERA Exam
- Process to Appear
- Complete MahaRERA Training & get your Training Completion Certificate (5 Years Validity).
- Register for the Exam by paying ₹1,500 (guided video available on YouTube).
- Download your Hall Ticket once scheduled.
- Appear for the Exam at the designated Exam Centre in your city.
- Receive the Certificate of Competency (COC) (valid for 5 years) after qualifying.
- Exam Pattern
- Format: MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Questions: 50 (2 marks each)
- Total: 100 marks
- Passing: 40 marks
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Negative Marking: None
- Venue: Exam Centre in your city

MahaRERA Registration
- After qualifying the exam & receiving your COC, you can apply for MahaRERA Registration.
- Types of Real Estate Agents & Fees:
- Individual – ₹11,121
- Proprietor – ₹11,121 (Recommended; allows employees & organization name)
- Private Limited / LLP / Public Limited / OPC / HUF – ₹1,01,121
- Total Cost (Training → Exam → Registration):
- Individual/Proprietor: ₹5,900 + ₹1,500 + ₹11,121 = ₹18,521
- Company/LLP/Other: ₹5,900 + ₹1,500 + ₹1,01,121 = ₹1,08,521

There is no minimum qualification required to enroll for MahaRERA Training.
The training fee is ₹5,900 (incl. GST). This covers 20 hours of training and the Training Completion Certificate (valid for 5 years).
No. The exam fee is ₹1,500, payable separately to MahaRERA while registering for the exam.
You are allowed 3 attempts after completing training.
If you fail all 3 attempts, you must re-take the MahaRERA Training before re-appearing.
